Just had a call from 01796 898377 claiming they're from Amazon and telling me thanks for my order, saying it's on the way and they’ll be taking £399.99 from my bank. They told me to press 1 if that wasn’t right. Honestly, it’s disgusting how phone firms don’t block these scams. I seem to get at least one every single day, it's so annoying.

Got a call from some robot voice warning me my internet was going to get cut off soon. It told me to press 1 to chat with someone, so I did. The person on the other end claimed there was an issue with my router and they'd disconnect my broadband. That didn’t sound right, so I hung up and rang TalkTalk myself. They told me my router was fine and there was no problem at all!

I picked up the phone and said hello, but all I got was some robot voice telling me goodbye! Just another annoying robo call.

Got a call from a different BT number saying my internet had some kind of issue. They wanted me to turn on my computer so they could sort it out. Sounded legit at first but it wasn’t some foreign accent - definitely scammers trying to pull a stunt. Be careful out there!

Someone rang me and just dropped the call straight away, definitely sounds like one of those annoying scam calls.

I’m not really sure who called, but they just hung up straight away when I picked up. There was a lot of background noise, so I’m guessing it was some sort of call centre.

I received a call from this woman claiming to represent BT, but when I inquired about the reason for their call, she told me to go away, using some rather colourful language to boot. Honestly, it’s hard to believe that she could be considered a proper lady. - Caller: 01796 787874

Received a call originating from Pitlochry, Scotland. The individual claimed to be representing SKY, insisting there was an issue with my line. I allowed them to ramble on for about ten minutes attempting to outline the supposed problem, before I interrupted them to mention, “I don’t actually own any SKY equipment.” They promptly ended the conversation. Total scam - caller ID: 01796787874.
