Today i got a call from this number and a man with an indian accent asked if i owned the house and if my boiler was older than six years. I told him i was registered with the telephone preference service and he shouldn’t be calling me. Normally they hang up straight away but this time he said, “no, miss, you’ve got it wrong. I’m not trying to sell you anything. I’m calling to see if there’s government help for boilers over six years old.” When i asked for his name and the company he worked for, the call just cut off.

This caller, who I reckon was from some Indian call centre, kept asking for the homeowner. My kids find it hilarious and actually enjoy chatting with them - they’ve gotten pretty good at copying the accents! They’ve rung up about six times just this past week.
