Had a call on my home phone from this number claiming to be Amazon, saying my Amazon Prime subscription had run out. They told me my account was charged about £95 for renewal. I didn’t listen to the whole message because it sounded like a pre-recorded pitch. I looked the number up and BT didn’t recognise it at all. I’m pretty sure Amazon wouldn’t call from this kind of number, so it’s clearly just another scam attempt. Definitely not a number legit companies like Amazon would use.
