Got a call on my landline earlier today. When i answered, there was this awkward silence, then a recorded lady's voice said it was from the “Bank security team”. The woman sounded pretty real, like the ones I’ve heard on legit calls before. I didn’t hang about though, as a similar call came through yesterday, but when I tried ringing back the number, it was different from the one today. Both showed as local numbers but didn’t appear on BT’s records. Definitely seemed like a scam, so watch out!
