I've just received an irritating phone call regarding my internet service.

I received a call from this number today, claiming to be my internet service provider. After several attempts to get the name, they finally admitted to being BT. They insisted there was an issue with my router and suggested dispatching an engineer to my home. When I explained that I wasn't experiencing any difficulties, the caller became rather defensive and rude when I probed further about their legitimacy. I pointed out that a genuine BT representative would never speak to a customer in such a manner, and to my astonishment, she abruptly ended the call!
