Got a call from this number 01229 430178, they kept saying something about amazon and an offshore account. Then they told me to press 1 to halt the transaction or press 2 to chat with an advisor. Sounded really dodgy to me.

Got a call today (around 1.30pm on 07/01/19) from a girl who said her name was Medita or something like that. She claimed to be from BT Openreach and mentioned there was an issue - think it was about the phone line or internet, can’t quite remember. I told her she sounded really polite but that what she was doing wasn’t right at all, then she just hung up on me. Seriously, Ofcom and BT need to sort these people out!
