10 yearsI recently encountered a rather unpleasant experience with a firm claiming to be I Love Savings. They rang me up with the intention of asking a few questions. When I politely informed the woman that it wasn’t a good time for me, her tone rapidly transformed into something rather rude and insistent. She assured me it would only take a minute or two, which felt rather pushy. At that point, I couldn't hold back and exclaimed, “What part of ‘no’ is unclear to you? Just remove my number!” To my disbelief, she responded by laughing at me. It's beyond me what sort of so-called customer service training these individuals undergo. Clearly, the notion of basic manners and ethical behaviour seems lost on them. To chuckle at someone simply for declining is utterly appalling.
