Total scam if you ask me! Fingers crossed the new 4% turnover fines for breaches under the May 18 data protection rules really get applied. Companies like BT, Virgin, British Gas and Talk Talk ought to cough up like £100 million each to make a proper example of them!

Got a call claiming to be from TalkTalk, but the second I mentioned I wasn’t a customer, they just cut me off straight away. Definite scam going on there. I like to mess about with them a bit to kill time, but never admit to actually being with TalkTalk.

got two calls today. the first one was just silence, nothing heard. then a guy with a strong accent, said his name was steven and claimed to be from talktalk, talking about some issue with my router. i kept answers short, just yes or no, trying to be polite, but he hung up suddenly. so annoyed with these kinds of nuisance calls. honestly, i’d back anyone who promises to put an end to this endless pestering.

It's just one of those scams where they're trying to take over your PC. I ended up messing around with the bloke a bit, just to waste his time and annoy him.
