Received a call today regarding insulation services that were supposedly funded by the government. The chap on the other end seemed quite anxious and there were inconsistencies in his tale, as he altered his story repeatedly. It gave off serious scam vibes, if you ask me!

I got a call from a bloke with a posh English accent claiming he was ringing about the loft insulation I’d supposedly had done. Thing is, I never actually had anyone come out since I put it in myself over 40 years ago. So I asked him, “What’s my name then?” and he just hung up straight away.

picked up the phone and some bloke started with "hello, it's ed here about the government insulation scheme" before he could say more I cut him off saying I'm not interested and ended the call. total scam, no doubt about it.

They've rang me once already about a week back, i left a note on the 6th Feb about it. Now they've tried again so i went ahead and blocked the number.

I picked up but stayed quiet, and they just ended the call immediately! Definitely a robocall.
