Had a call at 2:18 in the morning that jolted me awake. When I picked up, there was a bit of a pause before a woman with a thick accent claimed to be from Visa. I didn’t hold back and let her know that I was well aware it was a scam. She didn’t stick around and dropped the call straight away. It’s quite unsettling, really. Who in their right mind would think a call like that is authentic at such an unreasonable hour?
