Got a call around 2:10 in the afternoon on a weekday, and it was pretty dodgy. A woman with a southern UK accent, sounded like a recorded message, kept saying there was a £499 payment from my Amazon account. She told me to wait and talk to an operator if I didn’t recognise it. I just ended the call right away.

Got a call just before 3pm on a weekday. It was a recorded message from a bloke with a southern UK accent, like I’ve heard before on other calls. They claimed my internet account was involved in some dodgy bank transfers and said it’d be shut down straight away.
