Got a call from someone claiming to be BT saying my phone line was about to be cut off, asking me to press 1 to fix it. I don’t trust it at all, seems like a scam to me where they’d probably end up charging you just for pressing a button.

Got a recorded message claiming to be from BT saying my line would be cut off unless I pressed 1 or 2 to sort it out. Thing is, I don't even use BT, and the number they rang was an internet-based landline. I've heard before that if you press 1, you get hit with a big bill. Definitely a dodgy one.
