I keep getting calls from Vanquis card payments. They’re linked to the Royal Bank of Scotland. They do have a legit phone number but honestly, they are pretty pushy when it comes to chasing payments that are late or missing. Bit annoying really.

I received a call from someone purporting to be from VBank, asking for my date of birth. They didn’t provide any clear reason for their request, just introduced themselves as a representative of the bank. Honestly, I find it quite alarming that a young chap thinks it’s acceptable to ask for such sensitive information without any prior explanation! My account is perfectly fine as it is, so I certainly won't be divulging my date of birth. If this is legitimate, it appears their team could do with a bit of additional training in proper customer interaction!
