But the call I got was a recorded message claiming to be from “bank security,” warning me about suspicious activity like an Amazon order and an overseas transfer on my bank card. It’s obviously fake because first, they never mentioned which bank they were from at all, and second, they called from a local number instead of the official national bank contact.
