I've received a couple of calls over the past four days, and I tend to ignore numbers I don't recognise. The second call was particularly dodgy-it was an automated message claiming there was 'suspicious activity on my Amazon account' involving charges of £300 and £1000. They said to press 1 if I recognised the transactions or 2 to chat with a representative. What struck me as odd was that they didn't identify themselves, and the call came through on my landline, which I rarely use or share with anyone. Quite a nuisance, really!
