Got a ring on my cell from a bloke claiming I could get a discount on my life insurance or maybe stretch it beyond my mortgage deal. He mentioned something about Legal and General. When I asked him to post me something in writing, he insisted I needed to handle it online or over the phone. Felt a bit dodgy so I wasn’t sure if it was legit or a scam. Then the call just ended.

I called the number back, unaware it was for life insurance, and found it quite funny how they kept saying "I'm calling about" and "It's just a quick call" when it was me who had rung them first! Then they just cut me off halfway through what they were saying. Blocked for sure.
