Got a call from someone saying they're Virgin Media, talking about some dodgy activity on my mum's broadband. She's 83 and got all worried. They told her they could sort it out using her laptop. When I took the phone off her and asked a few questions, they just dropped the call straight away. Sounded like a total scam, and they had an Indian accent too.

My gran, who’s 83, got a call from someone pretending to be Virgin Media. They said there was some dodgy stuff happening on her broadband and said they could sort it out through her laptop. When I took the phone off her and asked some proper questions, the person just ended the call. Definitely seemed like a scam and they sounded like they were calling from India.
