I received a call from this number, and it was just a recorded message warning about potential dodgy transactions. Strangely, they never specified any bank or the type of account involved, which raised my suspicions. They urged me to "press 1" if I wanted to dispute the charges. I hung up straight away, thinking it was likely a ploy for a premium-rate callback. Given that the call came from a Swindon number, supposedly associated with Nationwide, I decided to ring it back, only to find that I got a response saying "this number is not recognised." It's evident that this is nothing but a scam!
