I received this number as a supposed direct line for BT broadband assistance. When I dialled it to sort out my lack of internet connection, I was connected to someone in Ireland, who then transferred me to yet another technician. After a while, I grew increasingly wary and decided to hang up. This definitely feels like a scam! Best to steer clear of this number altogether.

Absolute con artists! I received a call claiming to be from BT, but the bloke on the line had a thick Indian accent while using what sounded like very British names. Trust me, steer clear-don’t give them any access to your computer, and whatever you do, don’t ring them back!
