There was a lot of noise in the background which sounded like it was from an office. We were both silent for about half a minute, so I ended the call.

It definitely seemed like some sort of call centre. They asked for my partner by their last name, paused for a moment, then just ended the call. I’m not going to ring back - don’t fancy getting involved in a possible scam or anything dodgy.

when the phone rang, i just picked up with a quick “hello?” this bloke wanted to speak to me using my last name. i said i was the person he was looking for and then - bam - the call just cut off right there. i gave it another go and tried calling back a few times but no luck, no one picked up??

I received a call from someone who actually knew my name, which caught me off guard. However, as soon as I confirmed my identity, they abruptly ended the call! After doing a bit of digging on this platform, it seems they were likely from a double glazing firm. Honestly, I’m quite relieved they hung up-saved me the bother of having to decline their pitch!

Yet another unsolicited call from these folks! I suspect they're part of a firm that went under a few years back and had their sights set on our estate. I'm fairly certain they still possess our number. As soon as I began probing about their business name and asked if they had ever declared bankruptcy, they promptly ended the call. I attempted to ring them back, but the line was perpetually busy. Fingers crossed that they’ve been put off. I've now added the number to my blocked list.

I’ve asked this firm on numerous occasions to take my number off their list, as I have absolutely no interest in their offers for double-glazed windows. Yet, they keep phoning me! It’s as if they’re either incredibly eager for business or the dimwits on the other end simply can’t grasp the word “no”! If this harassment continues, I won’t hesitate to lodge a complaint with OFCOM.

I’ve just been pestered by a couple of muppets claiming to be from a windows company. When I told them I already had windows sorted, one of them cheekily said, "Well, of course, you do, mate! Otherwise, you’d be freezing!" Seriously? I had to clarify that I was at home because I’m unwell and that he’d just rudely interrupted my rest. I kindly asked him to kindly jog on and hung up the phone.

Barely a heartbeat later, the phone rang again, and the bloke shouted, "Who do you think you’re chatting to, mate?" At that point, I started to give him a piece of my mind, but for some odd reason, he disconnected. Just goes to show, they really are the lowest of the low, these telemarketers.

These double glazing salespeople are utterly obnoxious! I’ve repeatedly requested them to take my number off their list, yet they persist and even have the audacity to fib about it. This hassle has dragged on for two long years. Just block this number - it’s not worth your time!
