some guy called Kevin Heston claiming he was with BT. he started threatening to disconnect our landline if we didn’t cooperate. then he asked loads of personal stuff, like my age, my mobile number, and even my daughter’s number. he wanted to know when she’d be back home too. felt really dodgy.

Got a call from a bloke who said he was from BT, told me my internet might get disconnected because someone was hacking my line. He wanted me to log on and sort it out, but I asked him for a number instead. Told him to call me back later so I could check things out properly - felt a bit dodgy from the start. Trust your instincts, I reckon this is a scam. Watch out, folks!
