Dont bother calling back. It’s just someone trying to scam and get your bank info.

Last night at around 11pm, I got a call from this number saying they were from the bank’s fraud department. They said there was a suspicious transaction on my card. What freaked me out was they already had my name, address, and even my DOB. They also sent me a text telling me to reply with the number they gave. I ended the call straight away and rang my bank this morning - turns out it wasn’t them at all.

I've just come across this phone number that's definitely linked to some dodgy activity alongside the mobile number (+44) 07415136038. They're masquerading as the fraud team from Nationwide. However, I took the time to reach out directly to Nationwide, and they confirmed there was no contact from them on record. What’s more, this number seems to have a voicemail system that sounds suspiciously official-it’s either been tampered with or it's just a cleverly crafted fake. Be cautious, everyone!

Got a call from someone pretending to be from Nationwide BS, said there was some dodgy activity on my card. They spoke really clear English and seemed to know loads about me - like my age, postcode, phone, and email. Felt off though, so when they couldn’t give me my actual account number, I just ended the call. Definitely sounded like a bank scam to me.

These scammers have called me a few times now, just throwing insults about me not having any money and even calling me a drug addict. They’re really abusive. It’s the third time they've rung, and I'm seriously thinking I should report them to the police.

Didn’t pick up an unfamiliar number that rang me earlier. They didn’t bother leaving a voicemail either. Felt fishy so I’ve blocked it now, probably a scam.

Last week I got caught up in a really specific scam where someone called me knowing loads about my bank, including my actual name and phone number. They kicked off by warning me there was some dodgy activity on my account and said they’d put it on hold for now. What caught me off guard was how they clearly knew which bank I use, and they even faked the bank’s phone number on my caller ID. It felt like one of the most carefully planned scams I've encountered.
