Cheeky scammer for sure.

I got a call purporting to be from O2, and curiously enough, I received a text at the exact moment containing a four-digit code. They were touting some discounts, but it seemed utterly suspicious - very much not O2! I’ve decided to block the number. Better safe than sorry!

Got a call but it dropped straight away - definitely one of them scams again.

Total rip-off! No way I’m getting caught by that trick.

Sounds like a spam call, they claimed to be from Vodafone. Tried pushing some awful iPhone 12 offers. I wasn’t having any of it and quickly ended the call.

Got a call from EE about some deal for mobiles even though I don’t use EE as my network. Total spam.

I got a call from 01793 540857 and luckily my phone spotted straight away it was some sort of scam, so it just blocked it automatically. Better luck next time 😏 Not happening today! Thanks, but no thanks 👋

Care phone warehouse gave me quite the hassle. Tried ringing them about an order and got passed around loads of times. Not the best experience if I’m honest.

Got a call from someone claiming they were from O2 saying they could lower my monthly charges. Sounded quite believable at first, but when they asked me to enter a verification code, I remembered you’re never supposed to share that with anyone - even so called ‘O2 staff’. Something about it felt off, so I just ended the call.

Watch out for this one, claiming to be O2 - best stay well clear! I got a text about a security code being sent, and just moments later my phone rang. Didn't even bother picking up, just ended the call right away!

Got a call from 01182305208 where the person said they were from EE, sounded dodgy so I pretended to glitch out and then blocked them. Suddenly the same lot rang back from 01793540857. Looks like these numbers are linked to a scam. Just a heads up - don’t share any personal details and make sure to report these numbers if you get a call from them. Stay safe everyone!

Claimed to be from EE, but I could hear a cacophony of voices in the background. The accent seemed to be either Indian or Pakistani. He mentioned something about saving me a whopping 40% on my EE plan. However, I had a chat with EE just last month and I've got a far superior deal than what they’re peddling to new customers.

They claimed to be calling from Currys PC World and inquired about the model of my phone. When I mentioned that I hadn't purchased my phone from them, the line went dead. Quite the abrupt end to the conversation!

I genuinely couldn't make out the name of the company she claimed to represent, even after she repeated it several times. It became quite clear to me that it was a dodgy call, so I decided to cut the conversation short and hang up.

Avoid responding! I received a text from O2 containing a one-off passcode that I supposedly asked for. Just half a minute later, I got a call from London, followed by another from Swindon. Clearly, they were after my details to pilfer my account. How charming! 😏

Didn’t pick up and they didn’t leave a note. Blocked them right away. At this rate, I’ll end up with more numbers on my blocked list than actual contacts I chat to! 😂

I received a call from this number, but they didn’t bother to leave a message. It’s peculiar because I’ve never encountered this number in the past. It definitely isn’t associated with any of the services or utility providers I normally deal with. Quite odd, really.

I wouldn’t trust this number one bit; it's clearly a con! Whatever you do, don't share any personal details. Instead, why not have a bit of fun and just annoy them when they call? It could brighten your day and frustrate them just a tad longer, which means they won’t be able to mislead someone else for a while.
