I’ve been getting calls supposedly from O2 multiple times daily, like around 2 to 7 calls a day. They switch up the number each time but keep the exact same story about trying to get into your O2 account. Feels like they’re tryna scam me or hack in some way.

I received a missed call today, but oddly enough, my phone didn't actually ring. It seemed like it was just a swift call that got disconnected immediately. I suspect it might be one of those pesky auto-dialer scam calls. Interestingly, there was no voicemail left either.

This was a total fraud, they acted like they were from O2.

Got a call from someone saying they were O2 and offering a 40% off my bill, but I ended the call straight away. Oddly enough, shortly before that, I got a message from O2 about a security alert with a 6-digit code I never asked for. Sounds like a dodgy scam to me.

Just got a call from this number and not long after, I received a text that looked like it came from O2 with a verification code. The message had a warning saying something like... *SECURITY ALERT* You should get a one-time code soon. If anyone rings you asking for it, don’t give it out - they’re definitely not from O2. If you think something’s fishy, ring them on 202 to keep your account safe. Anyway, I’ve already changed my O2 password just in case!

Had a call from someone saying they were from O2 and offering me a discount. I got suspicious and asked them to prove who they were, then they just dropped the call. Definitely spam!

I usually don’t pick up calls from numbers I don’t recognise. Turns out it was a scammer this time. Glad there’s a way to check these things, it really helps.

Got a call from someone saying they were with O2, but it felt dodgy because they just sent a link and then cut me off. I looked up the number here to see if it was legit and turns out it was a scam. I've also reported it to Twilio, hoping they’ll shut it down soon.

I got a call supposedly from O2, but it sounded pretty dodgy. When I asked them what company they were with, they just laughed nervously. Definitely didn’t seem legit.

Got a call from someone saying they were from O2, offering a 30% cut on my bill. They acted like they were putting me through to the discount team, but it definitely sounded like the same bloke with a strong Indian accent the whole time. Then he mentioned sending me a couple of texts that I would need to respond to. That’s when I got fed up and told them it seemed dodgy, then ended the call.

This bloke said he was with O2, but I’m not even with them. I told him the call was being recorded so I could report it as spam, and he started asking questions. I told him to remove my number from their list or else I’d report it to the TPS.

I recently dialled a number in hopes of gathering some details, since my phone tends to filter out such calls, labelling them as potential scams or spam. An answering machine picked up, and I caught a mention of a company named Leads Tank. Quite intriguing, isn’t it?

Somebody called saying they were from O2, but I ended the call as soon as I figured out it was meant to be O2. I've fallen for that sort of trick before, with someone acting like they were from O2 and managed to deceive me. It really took me by surprise last time.

Got a robocall today from someone saying they were from ‘Visa Protection Service’. They told me there were two international transactions this morning, both over £500. But they didn’t say which card or who the payments were to. Pretty sure it’s a scam.

Sounds like a total con to me. They said they’re open from Monday to Friday 9 to 5 but when I called at 11:20 am, it just said the office was closed and then hung up. Dodgy if you ask me.
