They called me a couple of times but only rang a few seconds before hanging up. I looked them up on this site and decided to block the number now.

Got a call from someone who seemed dodgy, probably a scam, so I just didn’t pick up.

Most likely some scam call from overseas, I wouldn’t bother picking up. It’s a hidden number so my phone doesn’t even alert me. Honestly, I’m getting pretty sick of seeing this number pop up all the time.

Got a call really early, and when I said I can’t drink coffee ‘cause of bladder issues, the bloke just went quiet and stayed on the line. Strange!

This number isn’t saved in my contacts, and they didn’t leave any voicemail. From what I’ve read, it looks like it's probably some kind of customer service scam.

I’ve been getting calls from this number, along with a couple of others, just a few days after my Virgin Media contract was terminated; I’m not answering them. It seems rather likely that my information has somehow ended up in the hands of both known contacts and, in this instance, sketchy third-party organisations.

I thought I’d pop into Carphone Warehouse to see if they might sort me out.

Got a dodgy call claiming to be from o2 offering a 40% discount. First, they sent a text, then rang straight away. The text said if you suspect a scam, call 202, which to me doesn’t sound like o2’s proper customer number. I played along for a couple of mins when the guy, with a thick Indian accent, suddenly said the call was being recorded. I quipped back “oh really, same here at my local police station.” And then boom, the line just cut off. Funny, innit?

I received a rather intriguing call supposedly from Carphone Warehouse. The caller excitedly informed me that I could save a staggering 40% on upgrading to an iPhone 14 Pro Max. Despite my clear disinterest, he persisted in trying to share details about the supposed savings on my current contract upgrade. It felt quite pushy, to say the least, and I can’t shake the feeling that it might be a scam. Proceed with caution!

I was trying to find out how they obtained my number and the reason for their call, but the caller just kept waffling on about some discount they had. They insisted it wasn't a sales pitch, but got rather pushy when I requested to speak with a manager. Definitely a dodgy operation, if you ask me!

They rang me up purporting to be from EE, which was a fortunate coincidence since that’s my provider. They mentioned a 40% discount, but when I asked them a straightforward question regarding my account, they were utterly stumped.
