I've been getting loads of calls every single day about some boiler deal, it's really driving me mad.

If you’re getting annoying calls from this number, you can report the recorded spam through this link - apparently the ICO in the UK is looking into it (so signing up for TPS might actually help down the line?). Also, ring 1471 beforehand to check the time of the call and confirm the number. I keep getting calls from this number nearly every day asking me to press a button to hear more details. It's something to do with boilers, I think.

It's so frustrating! I get calls from this number nonstop, like all day every day. I just got back from a 12-day holiday and found loads of missed calls and around 15 voicemails from them. Seriously, why doesn't BT do anything to block these annoying calls? Does anyone know how to put a stop to this?

This number rings me multiple times a week, which is really annoying. I've blocked it already, but I'm frustrated that they can still keep doing it.

About ten minutes ago I sent a report on this number and now they've rang me again.. I don’t want or need a new boiler and certainly don’t want strangers messing with my phone!

This number keeps ringing every day but we’ve stopped picking up because it shows as INTERNET CALL, then switches to just a number, then back to INTERNET call again. I don’t get it - we’re paying to use our phone line to make calls, so do these internet callers pay to use landlines too? If not, how on earth are they able to reach our phones? Seriously BT, why are you letting all these cold calls through without charging or stopping them? We also get loads of internet calls from all over saying there’s something wrong with our computer. About 15 calls a week! BT, it’s time you sort this out and block these kinds of calls on the lines we pay for!

I wonder why OFCOM aren't taking any action on the calls coming from this number? Seems odd that they just let it slide.

They keep ringing me up even though I said I’m not interested at all. Won’t take no for an answer.

I've had quite a few calls about funding for solar panels and heating grants recently. On my phone screen, they show up as "international" calls, even though they definitely are not. Because of that, I tend to ignore them.

They keep ringing me up constantly with the same recorded message about some new boiler deal. I get calls from early in the morning right through till about 8 at night. It's so irritating! Does anyone know how to stop them bothering me?

The only information we've managed to uncover is that the number originates from the Swindon region in Wiltshire.
