I returned the call and was greeted by a recorded message from TalkTalk, informing me that my calls were undergoing screening. It prompted me to state my name and then hit the pound sign. I decided against it and ended the call. I'm completely baffled as to who could be on the other end!

Got a call from 01793497552 and when I tried calling back, it just went straight to TalkTalk’s screening. They don’t want you to ring them! They called my phone but when I picked up, there was nobody on the line. Classic scam moves as always!

They called and asked for me by name, said it wasn’t a spam call and they just needed to ask a few questions - so I just hung up.
