A guy rang me claiming he was from Microsoft, saying there was some weird activity going on with my computer. I played along for a bit while I checked the number online. He tried to sound legit by giving me a UK Microsoft address, but it seemed off, plus Microsoft wouldn’t have my home phone anyway. When I mentioned the number was listed as a scam, he got all defensive. I just ended the call and blocked the number straight away.

Got a call from someone claiming to be BT, but I’m actually with a different company. They started asking all sorts about my IP address and stuff. Feels dodgy to me!

Got a call from someone saying they were BT and that I'd get a refund. Sounded fishy, so I just blocked and hung up straight away. Definitely a scam!
