2 yearsI just got a ring from this number, a woman on the line saying that some unauthorised IP addresses had been accessing my broadband over the past week. She told me if I switched on my laptop, she’d show me the IPs and how to lock down my system. My laptop was actually on, but I said it wasn’t and refused to turn it on. There’s been no alerts from my security provider, and everything seems fine with scans and protection all up to date.
