2 yearsGot a call around 8:35 from a recorded lady saying there were two tries to take money from my account at Amazon and asked me to press 1 or 2. I hit 2 and this bloke with a Pakistani accent came on, said his name was MICHAEL HARRIS (sure thing!) from BARCLAYS. I don’t use Barclays at all, so I asked where exactly he was calling from and he just repeated it was Barclays. Then he asked if I wanted to ‘protect my funds’. I asked once more if this was my bank, and then he just hung up!AmazonMICHAEL HARRISBARCLAYS2 yearsSo this bloke claimed he was calling on behalf of Microsoft, but when I asked him exactly where he was calling from, he started acting all dodgy and unprofessional. Pretty clear to me that it was a scam and definitely not someone from the UK, given how clueless he sounded.MicrosoftUK2 yearsThis really screams unprofessional to me.2 yearsI picked up this number and the call just got cut off straight away.2 yearsI told her I couldn't understand, but she just kept going on and on, speaking really fast with a foreign female voice.Submit Your Own Report (01793 324559)
