I wasn't buying it and just told her straight up ‘that’s not right’ then ended the call.Sky2 yearsOn 12/4/2024 around 15:05, I got a call from this number. A woman with an Asian accent said she was calling from the refund team of the company that sold us kitchen appliances. Apparently, we’d been overcharged by £149 and they wanted to repay us. She promised to email all the necessary documents and have the refund sorted within 24 hours. She did know my name and postcode, but then she wanted more info to verify I was the right person, asking for my date of birth. When I refused, she said no refund would be given and hung up.
