This number kept ringing but no one spoke when I answered, so I decided to block it. Then they came back, changing the last digits to 392 or something like that, so blocked that one too. A couple of months back they left a voicemail claiming to be EDF, asking for my personal details, which seemed really dodgy!

Got a call from someone alleging to be BT, telling me my upcoming bill would be lower. They didn’t give me any reference number or even a name, so I told them I’d check the bill when it comes and then ended the call.

Total scam! The caller started with, "Hi, this is Microsoft calling." With over 300 million customers they have, why would they even bother ringing me? Surely, it’s a con.
