It says it’s Virgin Media, but I’m not convinced the call I got really was. There was a weirdly long pause before someone answered, which felt off, and the way they said, ‘Hello, I’m calling from Virgin Media about your broadband’, just didn’t sound right. When I challenged them, saying I don’t think you’re really from VM, they just hung up on me. So, I reckon it might be a scam, probably using a real number but faked somehow. I’m not 100% sure though, so I’ve marked it as “unknown”, but I thought it’s worth sharing here if anyone else has noticed the same thing.
