Someone called claiming to be from Openreach, saying there were issues with my internet being hacked. After a bit of silence, a woman with an accent that sounded Chinese started speaking. I told her straight up that I needed some proof of who she was before I’d say anything else. I asked for her name, my address, and account number. She paused and then said she couldn't give me that info. That’s when I guessed she was a scammer and told her to get lost. She ended the call right after.
