I hesitated but ended up answering a number I didn’t recognise. There was heaps of noise in the background, like a buzzing call centre. The guy, with a thick Asian accent, asked if I was having a nice day and said his name was Michael. Claimed to be from Microsoft and said there was an issue with my account. I told him exactly what I thought and told him to ‘bugger off’. He kept yapping, so I said it again and dropped the call. These scammers are really bloody irritating.
