Somebody called pretending to be from Virgin Media, asking me about my internet speed over the past few months, even though my connection hasn’t even been active for a whole month yet. When I mentioned that sounded a bit dodgy and possibly a scam to steal info, the woman laughed and said she’d just scam my husband instead - problem is, I don’t even have a husband!
