Got a call on my mobile then a landline one a few minutes later, but they hung up before I picked up. When I searched "open work central," it was some kind of automated message. I've nothing to do with Swindon, I’m up here in Scotland. Feels like one of those annoying cold calls from over the border.

a bit odd really. i don’t know anyone who lives around there - it’s miles away from me. probably just another spam or scam call.

I’ve been bombarded with calls today from numerous companies attempting to sell me new utility services. It just didn’t sit right with me, so I decided to block the number. In total, there were about four calls, and it was rather suspicious. I’ve now reported this to Citizens Advice, who are keeping an eye on a particular outfit masquerading as a legitimate company.
