I picked up the phone and there was total silence, then the call just got ended. Later, I called back from another number and when someone finally spoke, they said it was about a free NHS health check. I didn’t bother with them and just hung up straight away.

I answered with a quick "hello," but all I could hear was some background noise - no one actually said anything. Then the call just ended suddenly. I've decided to block the number now.
