Someone called saying they were from HMRC and claimed there was a warrant out for me. It was really upsetting.

I got a call from 01793 291054 on my mobile, which hardly ever gets these random calls. The person had a strong Indian accent and I couldn’t catch a word they said. When I said I wasn’t interested, they just ended the call. I have no idea how my number ended up on those marketing or maybe scam lists. Then I got another call from a different number yesterday, so somehow my phone number’s been added to these annoying lists. It’s really frustrating since my number’s been clear of this stuff for ages until now.

Terrible call quality. They claimed to be from Curry's PC World and said they were legit agents trying to sell me a new phone and contract. The woman on the phone had an accent that sounded Indian or Pakistani, and honestly, I couldn’t catch most of what she was saying. The only thing that came through clearly was something about an “iPhone 14,” so I just ended the call right there.
