It’s not a scam like loads of folks are claiming, they are actually overseen by the claims management firms. I went straight to my bank about my PPI and they told me everything had been refunded already, but when I used Premier Financial, they got me an extra £4,656. Really good company and the staff were super friendly. Proper happy with how they handled it. People need to do a bit of research and stop jumping to conclusions about these companies being dodgy.

Later on, at a quarter past six this evening-06.02.18-they had the audacity to call again from 01793250160. Naturally, I blocked that one as well. Honestly, if you pick up, there's utter silence on the other end, so don't even bother engaging. Just save yourself the trouble and block these nuisances!

Used TalkTalk’s 14258 service to block numbers, just had to type ## for the last call blocking or wait for the menu for other options, then put in 1234 as the code. Tried it today after getting about 8 calls while I was painting the house. So annoying!

I’ve gotten a bunch of calls from different numbers all starting with the same STD code, but I don’t know anyone around that area (Swindon). It seems to be a private home number, or at least that’s what it looks like to me, so to get business calls from that type of number just feels a bit dodgy. From what I understand, if the number belongs to a legit company then this site usually shows the business name (please correct me if I'm wrong), which helps to decide if I should pick up or not. I’ve ended up blocking all those Swindon numbers using BT Call Protect.

Premier Financial said they'd do free freedom of information requests to uncover every account number on any finance I've had, and get proof of my ppi so I can try claim it back all the way to the 70s. They're CMC registered too. Really helpful, very informative and the service is free. They use a dialler system that rings a set number of people then hangs up if no agents are free. Quite pleased I picked up the phone!
