I got a call from someone claiming to be from TalkTalk’s tech support, saying there was a problem with my broadband. But when I asked, they couldn’t tell me who they were, where I was located, or which number they’d dialled. They kept going on about my ‘security being at risk’ because people were apparently ‘using my connection’. Seemed like a classic scam to me.
