Kept insisting on speaking with the property owner, and when I said that wasn’t me, he went on about how he could save us money on our gas and electricity bills. I told him we’re tenants and the landlord sorts that out. Then he kept asking for the landlord’s name and contact info, and when I refused, he wanted my name instead and asked if we had a card machine. That was when I just hung up. Totally feels like a pushy scam, so watch out and don’t get drawn in.2 monthsGot a call from someone with a foreign accent asking for the business owner. Since I am the owner, I thought it sounded dodgy, especially when they started with the typical “Hi Ma’am, how are you?” So, I told them no one was here and the bloke just ended the call right away.
