8 yearsGot another call today, this time saying it was from Swindon, but it was clearly a fake number. The message was the usual one about being from the ‘BT technical team’ and warning that my internet's been hacked. I've had the same recorded message from loads of different numbers, like ones from the Shetland Isles and even some that aren't real at all (checked with Ofcom area codes). Best thing to do is just put the phone down straight away!
