Got a call saying it was a bank scam alert. The real bank later told me the call wasn’t legit at all. Apparently, most of these calls - like 9 out of 10 - from mobiles, landlines, and other numbers are scams. I checked online to find the genuine fraud helpline for the bank. For Lloyds Bank, the correct fraud contact is 0800 500 3920. They’re available in the evenings and probably 24/7, and its free to ring.
