I received a call from a chap with an Asian accent who stated he was from the technical support team at Microsoft. He claimed to be reaching out to assist me in resolving some issues with my computer. However, it quickly became apparent that his real aim was to obtain remote access to my system. It was nothing more than a ruse-a classic scam!
