I’m not sure if this counts as a scam or just annoying spam. They rang me up saying they were helping out with my life insurance, making it sound like they were part of the company I’m actually with. But then they started asking stuff my actual provider would already know, like how long I’ve had the policy. When I questioned who they were, they gave a company name and said they “worked alongside” my insurer, but it felt off. The guy told me to find my policy papers and give him some details. I just said to call back tomorrow since I didn’t have that info to hand. They’ve phoned a couple more times since then, but I think I’ll just block the number. Definitely felt dodgy to me.

I tried ringing this number, but there was no answer. When I called back, the voicemail greeted me with "thank you for reaching Ideal Comms". I'm not familiar with this company, so I just decided to hang up.
