I'm in a bit of a quandary as to whether this incident should be labelled a "Scam" or "Spam." I received a phone call from someone purporting to assist with my life insurance policy, presenting themselves as though they were affiliated with my actual provider. However, they began inquiring about details that my provider already ought to know, such as the duration of my policy. When I pressed them for more information, they mentioned a company name and claimed to be collaborators with my insurer. Yet, something felt off about the entire exchange. The caller then insisted that I should retrieve my policy documents and share some details with him. I told him to ring me back the following day, as I was unable to provide the information he requested at that moment. Subsequent calls have come in from them multiple times since then, but I’m resolute in my decision to block their number. The whole thing gave me a rather uneasy feeling.

I tried ringing this number, but there was no answer. When I called back, the voicemail greeted me with "thank you for reaching Ideal Comms". I'm not familiar with this company, so I just decided to hang up.
