Got a scam call from this number. The automated message said the number isn’t active anymore. They also mentioned that if you get a call showing this number, the caller ID must be fake. The person I spoke to earlier seemed a bit confused about calling back though.

Received a dodgy call about life insurance today. Definitely felt like a scam.

They just want to get hold of your bank card info. First, they’ll be asking about your current life insurance, then they try to tempt you with a supposedly better and cheaper deal, but that’s just a ruse. There’s no real policy behind it at all. Once they have your card details, they’ll clear out your entire bank account - proper theft. It’s the same scam every time, even if they pretend they’re selling something else, which they never do. Absolute crooks.

Got a call from someone claiming to be an energy advisor, asking about the type of loft insulation in my house. They said it was because my place appeared on some Energy Performance Property list. I told them I’m not on any register and just ended the call.

I got a call from some life insurance folks claiming I had a policy, but they wouldn't say which company or even confirm my name. When I asked them how they got my number, they were pretty rude about it. Very dodgy behaviour.

Ended up spending about 8 minutes on the phone with them, just trying to figure out what they were actually after. I reckon their real aim is to get you to cancel your current deal and switch to theirs.

Today, I've had a couple of calls from the same number. I pick up, but for the first few seconds, it's dead silence. Then out of nowhere, you get this noise like people talking in a call centre, and right after that, the call drops. Not sure if it’s some kind of spam or what.
