Someone from this number phoned me saying they were doing a routine review of my life insurance to check if it was current. After bombarding me with loads of questions, she insisted I had to switch my policy as it was out of date. Then I got passed on to a bloke called David, who apparently worked for the FCA and said they wanted to hike up the price. It all felt off so I rang my financial adviser soon after, who assured me my insurance is absolutely fine and suits me perfectly. I've now blocked the number - pretty sure it was a scam.

It’s a life insurance firm that keep pushing to save you cash but once you say you’re not keen, they just keep ringing and won’t accept a no. So to the person who posted here a few hours back, I’d say it’s a scam call - I’ve had three calls from this same number already. Number’s blocked now.

Folks really should understand the difference between spam and a scam, this company is NOT a scam! Your phone might label it as spam because it’s a call centre making loads of calls. They’re ringing to check on the life insurance you ALREADY POSSESS to help you save some cash! These are FCA regulated financial advisors, so if you get a call, it’s worth seeing if they can better your policy. It’s a free service. Don’t just leave bad reviews here without reason. Can anyone honestly say they’ve been scammed by this firm? I doubt it!

I've encountered a rather dubious phone call regarding life insurance, supposedly from a firm named "Genesis Life Ltd," claiming they wanted to discuss my life insurance policy with "Zurich." The catch? I've never even held a life policy! They attempted to lend themselves some credibility by boasting about their two-decade experience in the industry. Quite the fib, as I discovered in real time that their actual existence spans just under four years, and that's solely as an insurance broker. What a sting! They were spouting absolute nonsense; you ought to take their words with a pinch of salt. Their main goal seems to be persuading unsuspecting individuals to cancel their existing policies in favour of new ones that would line their own pockets with commission. Plus, it would likely result in a worse deal for the consumer. Even if they were trustworthy - which they’re clearly not - consider this your fair warning!

A bloke from "Agenesis Life" rang me up, claiming they can move my life insurance from Aviva to a better plan. I do have a policy with Aviva, but after seeing what others have said on here, I reckon he just got lucky with me! Told him I’d rather have a mate check it out instead. He was really polite about it.

Then they offered me a #### protection plan instead, which covers my #### in case of damage, injury, loss of use, 24hr replacements and that sort of thing. Spoke to a lovely Welsh lady named Emma who looked over my life insurance for me. She ended up saving me quite a bit of money and even got me an extra £100,000 added to my current policy. I don’t get why some folks reckon this is a scam - it’s something everyone should try because insurance companies always try to rip you off, and this check helps make sure you’re not paying too much. Yep, it’s definitely a life insurance firm. They tried to chat about my existing policy, but I told them I’ve never had one and ain’t interested. The bloke found it odd my info was on their system though. I mentioned it’s probably some dodgy stuff, as I also keep getting calls about car insurance and accidents I supposedly had, which is strange ‘cause I don’t even own a car or have a driving licence. He said he’d sort it out so I wouldn’t get more calls, but I’ve gone ahead and blocked the number as well.

When you ring it, it plays a message saying sorry missed your call, but by law it should say who’s calling. I called and got the message but no one answered. It seems I've had quite the experience with a life insurance firm recently. The representative I dealt with was very articulate and came across as thoroughly professional. He had an impressive grasp of all my personal information and the specifics of my life insurance policy. It was through him that I included my newborn on the policy, and I even shared my medical documentation regarding a newly diagnosed throat cancer (I’m only 39). He did, however, request details such as my children's birth record number, along with confirmation of my policy number and the monthly direct debit amount. I had asked him to ring me back the following lunchtime, but unfortunately, I was napping and missed the call. Honestly, these individuals are utterly callous and insufferable. Someone rang me claiming to be from a life insurance firm and even used my name to sound legit. It felt dodgy, so I asked straight if it was a sales call, and he said it wasn’t.
