12 yearsFor the whole week, I kept getting missed calls from these guys. When I finally picked up quickly, all I got was silence for a good 10 seconds before the line just went dead. I didn’t hang about and rang Ofcom at 0300 123 3333 right after. While missed calls and automated messages might not always break the rules, calls that are silent like this can actually land the callers with a hefty fine of up to £2 million. If you’ve had the same thing where you pick up and then they just drop the call, I'd definitely suggest reporting it to Ofcom.
