Some bloke called up about my life insurance not being checked for ages, but when I asked what company he meant, he just hung up straight away. Wouldn’t tell me who he was or anything. Proper dodgy if you ask me.

Got a call from someone claiming to be a broker for different life insurance firms. He was going on about how I supposedly had life insurance that was recently checked over (honestly, I don’t know why I even played along). He kept pressing me about whether I'd ever worked with a broker before. When I said I wasn’t certain how he got my number and asked to be taken off their list, he cut me off mid-sentence and ended the call. Proper cheeky behaviour! Save yourself the hassle and just block the number straight away!
